How to add stickers to photos on iPhone
In the Photos app: open the photo, tap Edit, then Markup, tap + and Add Sticker, and drag a sticker onto the photo. For stickers that find faces by themselves and keep moving, use Add effects in Tada.

In the Photos app (still stickers)
- Open Photos and tap the photo you want.
- Tap Edit, then tap Markup.
- Tap the Add button (+), then tap Add Sticker.
- Touch a sticker and drag it onto your photo. To resize it, tap it, then drag a blue dot on its edge.
- Tap Done, then Done again.
These are the steps in Apple’s own guide to Markup. You place every sticker by hand, and the photo stays still.
In Tada (stickers that move)
- Open Tada, tap Add effects and pick a photo.
- Pick a sticker pack. In about a second the whole set is on: hats on heads, glasses on eyes, blush on cheeks. Tap the dice to shuffle a new set.
- Drag, pinch or turn any sticker to fix it, or drag it to the bin.
- Tap Save. The photo goes to Photos as a Live Photo, so the stickers keep moving when you touch and hold it.

Questions
How do I add a sticker to a photo on iPhone?
In the Photos app, open the photo, tap Edit, then tap Markup. Tap the Add button (+), tap Add Sticker, then touch a sticker and drag it onto the photo. Tap Done, then Done again.
Can stickers on a photo move?
Not with Markup: it saves a still photo. Tada’s Add effects puts animated stickers on faces, ears and hands for you and saves the photo as a Live Photo, so the stickers move.
Are the stickers free?
Tada’s Classic pack and the packs you can wear (hats, glasses, earrings and more) are free and made on your phone. Some packs are part of Tada Pro.
